PMI Kyoto Packaging Systems Inc. (“PMI Kyoto”), a U.S. subsidiary of Kyoto Seisakusho Co., Ltd., is pleased to announce that it has entered into an agreement with Omori North America Inc. (“ONA”), a subsidiary of Omori Machinery Co., Ltd., to establish J-Packaging Solutions Inc. (JPS), a joint venture company dedicated to providing integrated packaging line solutions throughout North America.
Background and Purpose
Manufacturers across North America are increasingly seeking fully integrated packaging solutions that combine primary packaging, secondary packaging, and end-of-line automation rather than standalone equipment purchases.
To address these evolving market requirements, PMI Kyoto and ONA will combine their respective strengths and expertise. PMI Kyoto contributes its capabilities in cartoning, case packing, robotics, palletizing, and packaging system integration, while ONA brings industry-leading flow wrapping technologies. The newly formed joint venture will provide customers with a single-source solution for complete packaging lines.
JPS will establish local engineering, manufacturing, project management, and customer support capabilities to deliver high-quality packaging systems throughout North America. By leveraging the combined resources and experience of both organizations, JPS will provide customers with enhanced value, improved operational efficiency, and comprehensive lifecycle support.
